Just to let you know I have updated my website. I have changed a few things around and I have also added a whole new gallery which you can see many artworks that I have done in the past year. So enjoy looking at the new art pics.
I have also again started working on my online book "Raised by Wolves". It has been many many weeks that I have let my book project remain idle without me adding anything. Instead of writing I have been thinking. So now what I am doing instead of writing in a linear fashion I am jumping ahead to 1994 which to be was a year that was sort of a turning point in my life which did aim my life in a certain direction. I figured that I would pick up my story from this point which will hopefully move the reader to the present point where I am today. It will also jump ahead of the biggest rollercoaster ride of my life.

To read my book just go to the above web address and you will need a password to enter so you can read the book. Just email me and I will provide you with the password. I just do not want certain people to read my book without my knowledge. Just email me and I wil get right back with you with the password.
So far I have written 7 chapters which mostly reflects on my childhood and it also introduces mnay relatives that figure into my life story. Now since I have jumped ahead in my story this is here it gets really interesting. After I get to the point of present day events I will go back and fill in the chapters from where I left off and to where I started again with the date of Sept 1994. I just figured that it would be better to get down to the nitty gritty and write down some things that really made me into who I am today. |

I have been getting ready to work on my book that I have wnated to work on for some time now. I have a secure place on the web which you will need a password in order to enter the site and read it. This is a autobigraphical book and it will cover many many different subjects. It will cover so many aspects of my life. I have had many people in my life ask me about certain parts of my life and when I try to tell them about some of the people who raised me and other family related issues they often times get confused and don't understand why things happened a certain way etc. I think this book will fill in many of the blanks and give anyone interested in either myslef or my family history a better glimpse into what is has been like to live the one life that I have. I will name names and I will not pull any punches. I will lay it all out on the line and say it like it is. It might get uncomfortable at times but thats the way life is. I just do not want to die one day and my story, what or how my life was, or the truth die with me.

Heck, I was thinking that if I place my book that I am writing online anyone will be able to find it without much trouble. I need a feature that I can lock-out everyone. I need something that will only allow people with a password to get in.
Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? Anyone have an exerience in creating something like this?
I would love to hear some replies if you know anything about this. |

Today I have listed some new art on Ebay, If you ever want to see my art on Ebay just type in the word "davmo" into Ebay's little search window. Then you can always bookmark my auctions and you can check them all the time.
Last night my wife Lisa and I were a little bored and I mentioned that maybe we should watch a movie from a movie collection. I have a lot of movies on DVD and on VHS Tape. I was digging the movies out and I was calling out the titles to Lisa. She kept sayng no "not that one, I have already seen it". etc. Finally I came across the tape that has my mothers funeral on it. Lisa said that she wanted to see that one.
So I put my mothers funeral tape into the player. It is sort of strange watching a funeral on tape. Why? Is it something that I really want to cherish and watch numerous times with a soda on one side of me and a big bowl of popcorn on the other???? For me it is painful to watch the video.
My mothers name was Hazel Madeline. People called her Madeline. She was actually my biological father's mother. She and her second husband took me in when my biological parents couldn't get their shit together and take care of their 3 kids. As a side note I have wanted for some time now to write a book about my life and the people in my life. I think I will title the book "Raised by Wolves" ©.
Anyways I watched the movie of my mother's funeral with Lisa and you know I can look at the video in a much different perspective than I have in the past. I have learned so much in the 8 years since Madeline died. I learned WHO is really fucked up and I learned WHO in this life are my friends and WHO are not. Those were some really fucked up times and since then I cut the people out of my life who has caused me the most grief and pain. Just like taking a butcher knife from a drawer and sticking it into my stomach and removing the worst parts, the cancer, the hate, the pain. At times in my life I wish I could had taken both the blue pill and the red pill if it only took away the pain and agony that people who were supposed to love me and be my family and friends. Watching the movie made a lot of pain and feelings that I have come rushing back. Perhaps I will always feel like this.
Sometimes it seems like so long ago. Its really funny how life is. The people that you love are often only in your life for a very short part, a short time and then they are gone. Never to return. I am still here.
Anyways this is too much to put in here right now. I think that I will add another post and I will add a link that will take you to my book "Raised By Wolves". I have to get started, I have to do this. The link post to my book will only be available to "friends" on the LiveJournal and not available to the public to see. Picture of the Day : This is a photo that I took at the Luna Slalom Jam this past spring in Jackson Mississippi. The sun was going down and it was getting dark outside. There was some hot Slalom Skateboard racing under the lights on Fondren Hill in the Fondren section of the city. Jackson Mississippi is a very cool place with lots of cool shops, restaurants, and many other cultural attractions. |

on 7-5-2004 I worked.
Today 7-6-2004 : I got home this morning and I checked emails etc. I am sort of tired today. Its hot and humid today so I am sort of staying inside until it cools off later. Later I will have to cut my grass. Yes I own a lawnmower, a lawnboy. I painted some and I will be listing some new art on Ebay maybe later tonight.
Right now its around 2: 45 in the afternoon and I think I will take a little nap and then I will get up and mayeb go to the post office before they close at 6:00 to mail off some art that I have sold recently. I always try to get packages out asap once they have been paid for. I hate for people to have to wait. I know I hate waiting when I have bought something by mail-order, online, or on Ebay etc.
I hope my journal catches on and people start checking it out and posting stuff etc. I think that I will make a few new features on my journal like Picture of the day, art of the day or song of the day etc. Maybe make it sort of interactive so you can post your fav song, art, picture of the day too to share it others.

I have been playing with some of the LJ settings and I am slowly getting things the way that I like it. I have deleted some posts that needed deleting and I am trying to make a whole new fresh LJ for myself. Everyone let me know if this format is okay. I have also downloaded the LJ Client and I am testing that out to see if I like it. I am now tired and need to hit the rack. |
